Brooklyn Academy of Music honors MLK for 32nd year

The Brooklyn Academy of Music on Monday hosted its 32nd annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and legacy.
The event was filled with songs from the Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir and speeches from several speakers, including Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, who served as the master of ceremony.
There was also a screening of the Spike Lee documentary "4 Little Girls."
This year's tribute took on a different tone due to the current political climate and #MeToo movement, with some speakers tackling those topics in their addresses.
