10 people treated for exposure after Wayne hazmat situation

A police officer, six firefighters, two EMTs and a worker were taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after a hazmat situation at a business in Wayne.
It happened at the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics building on Dey Road.
Officials say several people were exposed to smoke and fumes caused by PTFE. The most widely known PTFE-based formula is Teflon.
