2 face charges for failing to report parking crime in New Brunswick

NEW BRUNSWICK -

In New Brunswick two defendants are on trial for failing to report a parking crime committed by other employees.

Official say the employees accepted cash bribes from drivers in exchange for letting them park their cars in an abandoned garage.

The investigation began after parking authority officials learned of the thefts.

Prosecutors say the scheme lasted for several years.
