Watch: Belmar man ‘swims’ in the snow

A News 12 New Jersey viewer made the most out of his snow day Thursday.

Derek DeAngelis sent in this video of him “swimming” in the snow. He says that he was going to swim to the beach.

The Belmar resident is seen jumping into a large pile of snow while just wearing his swimsuit. A plow can be seen passing by behind him.

Monmouth County was one of the areas that took the brunt of the snowstorm. Belmar saw well over a foot of snow during the storm.
