The New York Giants cleared out their lockers Monday, bringing an end to a tumultuous 2017 season.
Big Blue finished the season at 3-13, and created plenty of headlines along the way. They cut ties with head coach Ben McAdoo, general manager Jerry Reese and suspended several players over the course of the year.
After an emotional season which saw him get benched for one game, Eli Manning says he wants to be back with the team in 2018.
"This is what I want to do, I want to play quarterback for the New York Giants, and we'll see what the plan is for the franchise going forward," says Manning.
With a new general manager already hired in ex-Panthers GM Dave Gettleman, the focus turns to hiring a new head coach.
The Giants have requested interviews with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.
