Man wanted in connection with deadly New Year’s Eve stabbing

Law enforcement officials are looking for a man who may have information about a deadly stabbing in Asbury Park on New Year’s Eve.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says that they are looking for Fabian Vazquez-Quiroz who is wanted for questioning in relation to the death of 27-year-old man in a Sewall Avenue apartment.

Officials say that Asbury Park police responded to calls about the stabbing around 11 p.m. Friday. The victim was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he later died. The victim's name was not released.
