Police: Man attacks officers after drugs found during stop

A Montclair man is facing charges after police allegedly found a variety of drugs inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Officials say that Bloomfield police pulled over Robert Clyburn near the border of Bloomfield and East Orange for tinted windows.
During the stop, officers say that they smelled marijuana coming from inside the car.
A search of the vehicle found that Clyburn allegedly had 11.5 ounces of marijuana, four bundles of Heroin, 85 Tylenol with Codeine pills, Ecstasy and Klonopin, according to officials. The officers also found $8,500 in cash.
Police say that Clyburn attacked the officers when they tried to arrest him. The officers sustained minor injuries.
Clyburn faces several charges including drug distribution, aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
