BAYONNE -

A teacher and hockey coach at Bayonne High School is facing charges that he allegedly pointed a gun at two people.

Bayonne police say that David McKenna, 38, took the gun of a New Jersey state trooper who also volunteers as a coach out of the trooper’s locker and pointed it at two people at the high school hockey rink on West 28th Street. Police say that there is no indication that McKenna was planning on using the gun against the individuals.
