New Jersey Transit is reminding its customers that beverages, including alcoholic ones, are not allowed on trains, light rails or buses this Saturday ahead of Hoboken SantaCon.
The agency put out a similar alert earlier this month for the New York SantaCon.
NJ Transit officials say this policy will be strictly enforced. They say that it is meant to cut down on the amount of intoxicated riders.
Beverages are never allowed on NJ Transit vehicles, but the ban is typically overlooked during everyday operations.
