Netcong students send care package to US soldier

NETCONG -

A group of Morris County students have adopted an American soldier.

The kindergarten students of Hayley Vicedomi’s class learned about the U.S. troops this Veteran’s Day and all of the sacrifices they have made.

The Netcong Elementary School students then participated in the “adopt a solider” program.

The class received information about their soldier, who is stationed in Kuwait, along with a list of items the soldier and his platoon may need.

The students gathered the supplies and shipped their package Dec. 1.

They are waiting for a response.
