Linden residents go Christmas caroling for charity

Dozens of Linden residents got into the holiday spirit Monday night in the name of charity.
The carolers loaded onto decorated buses and sang Christmas songs for at almost 200 homes in town. It was all part of the Second Annual Caroling for a Cause event.
Caroling for a Cause was started by Linden school board member and alum Anthony Wohlrab. Students, faculty, parents and elected officials participated in the event.
"I wanted to do something that would give back to our kids and make sure our kids in our town got something out of it,” Wohlrab said.
While entertaining the town, the singers also asked their audience to give back in the form of donations.
"With all the donations we will go out and buy presents for those in need,” said Wohlrab.
The Linden School District is also collecting toys for those in need at all 13 of its school buildings.
“This community cares about each other and they want to do good,” says Linden Superintendent Danny Robertozzi.
The four buses that the carolers rode on while traveling around town were donated by the Villani Bus Company, which has been in Linden for over 100 years.
