Authorities have arrested a man in connection with Sunday’s stabbing of a nurse outside University Hospital in Newark.

Police said Brian K. Anglin, 56, of Rahway, was arrested Wednesday night for the assault.

Anglin is accused of stabbing the 60-year-old victim Sunday evening after allegedly asking her for money in the employee parking lot. She was able to get back into the hospital after the stabbing. She was listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery, officials said.
