A person was struck and killed by a car in a Woodbridge parking lot Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Woodbridge Hills adult community.

Witnesses say that the victim was struck just outside of Building 1 along Hampton Lane. The community is located just off of Route 1.

Details about the victim’s identity were not immediately released.
