Disney on Ice presents "Dare to Dream" at Barclays Center this year -- introducing the character Moana for the first time, alongside classics like Belle from "Beauty and the Beast."
The cast and crew is busy preparing for weekend performances.
"It's a lot of pressure, just because I grew up with these stories," says Brandon Paul, an assistant electrician on the production crew. "And there's a lot of children growing up with these stories now. And they just mean a lot to a lot of families."
The production includes 200 lights, pyrotechnics and indoor snow. The cast also goes through multiple costume changes with little time to spare.
Anna Madorsky, a performer, says the secret is using zippers on everything so skaters can change without taking off their skates.
