Driver hospitalized after vehicle strikes NJ Transit train

GLEN ROCK -

A North Haledon woman was taken to the hospital Monday morning after she struck a commuter train in Glen Rock with her SUV.

New Jersey Transit officials said that the woman was driving when she hit a NJ Transit Bergen Line train which was stopped at the Borough Hall station. The officials said that the woman accidentally put the car into drive.

The woman’s name and extent of her injuries were not released.
