Google employees visited the Jersey City Community Charter School Wednesday to show the students some interesting technology.
The students were able to experience “Google Expeditions AR” – the tech giant’s new augmented reality device.
The devices allowed the children to explore different environments while in the classroom, such as the digestive system, rainforests and the ocean.
Students say that they were able to watch animals swimming in the ocean and other animals jumping around on trees through the augmented reality programs.
This is the second year the Google Expedition Program visited the school.
