Police arrest man accused of burglarizing church

Toms River police have arrested a man they say stole from a church donation box earlier this month.

Vincent Passalacqua, 22, was arrested on Sept. 20 in connection with the theft.

Police say Passalacqua stole money from the collection box at the Christ Episcopal Church on Washington Street in Toms River on Sept. 4.

Police released surveillance video of a man believed to be Passalacqua inside the church.

Passalacqua is being held without bail at the Ocean County Jail, according to police.
