An investigation by Monmouth County officials lead to the seizure of 30 guns, thousands of rounds of ammunition, bomb-making materials and a homemade flamethrower.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says that this was the result of a three-day investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Authorities began their investigation Sept. 14 when they received a tip that someone was storing explosives and destructive materials inside a home on Ford Road in Howell. Investigators say that they found guns, ammunition and marijuana inside the home.

The investigation then led to a home on Route 33 in Freehold Township. Officials say that they found explosive materials “capable of, and designed to create destructive devices,” as well as six long guns, 10 handguns, a homemade flamethrower, and 13 containers of live ammunition. Some of the ammunition included hollow nose and armor-piercing cartridges, according to police.

Police arrested 49-year-old Anthony Corraro, of Freehold, who police say is a member of the Pagan’s Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. Police also arrested David Tash, 53, and Christopher Tash, 49, of Howell.

The three men are facing a variety of weapons charges. They could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
