I-78 reopens following truck fire in Berkeley Heights

All lanes on Interstate-78 reopened after crews have cleared an accident between a tractor-trailer and two cars in Berkeley Heights.
New Jersey State Police say that the truck caught fire after the crash and spilled debris, causing major delays Tuesday morning on the highway near Exit 44.
Large plumes of smoke could be seen following the crash. Two lanes in both directions were closed for a time.
State police say that only minor injuries were reported.
In a related accident, authorities say two people traveling in a minivan were hurt later Tuesday when the vehicle struck debris from the earlier crash. Those injuries were not considered serious.
