Authorities have identified the woman found dead inside a trash bag on a Trenton sidewalk Monday.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office says that Trenton resident Lillian Duran, 43, was found on a sidewalk on the 400 block of Lamberton Street. Her body was inside a plastic bag, according to officials.

A spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office says that the medical examiner performed an autopsy, but that the cause and manner of death are unknown at this time. A toxicology report is pending.

Police are asking anyone who might have any information about Duran’s death to call the Mercer County Homicide Task Force at 609-989-6406 or the Trenton police confidential tipline at 609-989-3663.
