  • 9/11 Remembrance Events
    • Clinton 9/11 Ceremony: 8 to 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Patriots Point, by the Clinton House, Clinton Collection will be made for Veterans Haven North. Feel free to bring twin extra large bed in a bag and pillows.
    • Carteret Memorial Service: 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Carteret Park, Cypress Street and Carteret Avenue. Honoring those who perished in New York, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania and remembering Carteret’s own Colleen Ann Meehan Barkow, Jayceryll M. DeChavez and Joseph Mangano.

    • Edison Remembrance Ceremony: 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Lake Papaianni 9-11 Memorial Site, Lake Papaianni Park. Police Lt. Dominick Masi will be the guest speaker at the ceremony along with Mayor Thomas Lankey. Participating in this event will be the Edison Township Council, local dignitaries, municipal employees, bagpipers, vocalists and area clergy.

    • Monroe Wreath Laying and Day of Remembrance: 8:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Monroe Township Memorial Tree Park, Prospect Plains and Half Acre Road, with a Moment of Silence at 8:46 a.m.

    • North Brunswick Sept. 11 Memorial Ceremony: 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, September 11th Memorial Park, at the monument on Hermann Road across from the Municipal Complex.

    • Scotch Plains Never Forget 9/11 Memorial Service: 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, Augustine Park, Village Green, 430 Park Ave.
