Arrest made in Somerdale police, fire vehicle tire slashing

Police in Camden County have arrested a man who they say slashed 52 tires on multiple police and fire vehicles.
Somerdale police say 51-year-old Edward Holmes faces multiple charges, including criminal mischief, following an arrest on Tuesday.
Investigators say that a Somerdale police officer recognized the suspect in surveillance videos because he had previously reported a stolen bicycle at the station.
Police say that Holmes slashed tires on nine police cruisers, one fire vehicle and three personal cars of police officers on Sunday.
Holmes was arrested at the Cathedral Kitchen on Federal Street in Camden City. Police say they received an anonymous tip that Holmes was at that location. Holmes was arrested without incident, according to officials.
