A Passaic County community gathered together to promote peace in the aftermath in Charlottesville.
A special vigil took place on Wilmore Road Park in Little Falls Friday.
Mayor James Damiano says town leaders organized the event to address the community's concerns and to publicly denounce racism and bigotry.
Community leaders say the event also paid tribute to the victims killed in Barcelona.
