More than 50 people were affected after a fire damaged parts of an apartment complex in Bergen County.
The fire started Friday evening at an apartment complex on North Maple Avenue in Park Ridge.
The Red Cross says it is assisting 13 people in nine families with temporary housing.
Bright orange flames were seen shooting out of the top floor of one of the units. Witnesses described heavy smoke in the area.
Officials have not said if anyone was hurt or what may have caused the fire.
