Bedminster declared among residences of the president

Bedminster has been officially declared as one of the residences for President Donald Trump, according to Rep. Leonard Lance.
This means that the township, as well as Somerset County, are eligible for reimbursements for costs associated with the president’s visits. The grants can be used to pay law enforcement costs.
Trump has made several trips to Bedminster since taking office to stay at his Trump National golf resort.
The declaration comes at an opportune time, as it looks like the president will be spending more time in New Jersey this August.
While the president has not shared what his plans will be once Congress goes into recess, the FAA has imposed a temporary flight restriction around Bedminster from Aug. 3 until Aug. 30.
These are the same restrictions that have been put into place for all other trips Trump has taken to Bedminster.
