Wildfires In Santa Barbara County Scorch Over 24,000 Acres Amid Heat Wave

The aftermath of massive wildfires that scorched areas of Santa Barbara County in California. The Whittier Fire and the Alamo Fire together have blackened more than 30,000 acres of chaparral-covered hills in Ventura County. Statewide, about 5,000 firefighters are fighting 14 large wildfires.
