Veteran gathers  pictures of those lost in Vietnam War

HOLMDEL -

A veteran is reaching out to his fellow community members for help in locating pictures of New Jersey residents who died in the Vietnam War.

Joe Lubrano tells News 12 that earlier this year, he received an email from the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. asking veterans of the war to assist in locating pictures of fellow veterans killed in action.

With the resources he has, Lubrano is trying to match names to the faces in the pictures.

"They need that recognition," said Lubrano regarding the individuals who still need to be identified.

Lubrano encourages anyone who may have a picture of a loved one killed in Vietnam to visit his website at MemorialWallPictures.org.
