An exotic bird stolen from a shop in Saddle Brook has been returned.
NJ Exotic Birds owner MaryLou Karachun says that the theft happened Saturday while she was helping a customer. She says that four men who she believes were the thieves were seen on surveillance video near the turquoise green-cheeked conure before it was stolen.
"I was shocked they did that," Karachun says.
The bird, along with its cage and food, was returned Wednesday.
There was no word on who returned the bird or if any arrests were made in connection with the theft.
