Howell man, daughter killed in GWB crash

NEW YORK -

A Monmouth County man and his 5-year-old daughter were killed in a two-vehicle crash on the George Washington Bridge.

Howell resident Hector Pedercini, 50, and his daughter Marianna died after his SUV crashed into a box truck that was stuck in traffic on the New York-bound side of the bridge Wednesday night.

Pedercini's wife, mother-in-law and his 1-year-old daughter survived.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.
