A large water main break early Monday morning flooded streets in Paterson.

Officials said the area of Main and Elizabeth streets was impacted. A viewer who sent video of the scene to News 12 said police evacuated residents in the area.

Crews turned off the water for residents living on Elizabeth Street. Officials said repairs are expected to be completed by the evening at which point the water will be turned back on.
