Union resident claims vandals destroyed Trump sign
A Union Township businessman says his property has been vandalized because of his support for President Donald Trump.
Gregory Caponegro says that vandals have targeted his business five times this year. He says the most recent incident was Monday night when they destroyed a pro-Trump sign.
Caponegro says this politically motivated act of vandalism needs to stop.
"We're not getting anywhere in life by doing things like this," Caponegro said. "The solution is in four years vote for somebody else and leave me alone."
Caponegro says he has no plans to stop putting up pro-Trump signs. He says he has filed several police reports, but so far no charges have been filed.
