Woman struck after car jumps curb in Maplewood

MAPLEWOOD -

A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Maplewood Saturday morning.

The incident happened at the intersection of Irvington and Union avenues around 6:30 a.m.

Maplewood police say a car jumped the curb and hit the 42-year-old woman. She was taken to University Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

The driver was not injured.

There is no word on if any charges will be filed.
