Thousands of students graduate from Rutgers

Rutgers celebrated its 251th anniversary commencement on Sunday.

Thousands of students got their diplomas at High Point Solutions Stadium on the Busch Campus in Piscataway.

Actor, musician, and human rights activist Steven Van Zandt served as this year's commencement speaker.

He also received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree.

"Don't compare yourself to your contemporaries, compare yourself to the best," he said.
