Forecast: Cloudy Monday to lead to showers Tuesday

EDISON -

A foggy, mild start to Monday will lead to increasing cloud coverage and a greater risk for rain, News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio said.

Fog reduced visibility Monday morning down to less than a mile in some areas, including Toms River. Gregorio said the fog would disperse as the morning progressed, but mostly cloudy skies would remain. High temperatures will climb into the low-70s Monday.

Scattered showers are expected to move in overnight as temperatures drop into the mid-60s.

The wet weather continues into Tuesday, but high temperatures will again climb into the 70s.

Periods of rain will still be possible Wednesday. Temperatures will be a bit cooler with highs in the low-70s.
