Snow falling; up to 3 inches possible for parts of state

EDISON -

Snow is falling in parts of northern New Jersey Thursday afternoon, and it could make for a messy evening commute, with some parts seeing possibly up to three inches of snow.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says temperatures Thursday will be in the low-40s, with cloudy skies.

The snow should fall mostly in areas of the state north of Interstate-78. Other parts of the state should see some rain. Gregorio says northern parts of the state should expect between 1-3 inches of snow.
