Forecast: Scattered rain tonight, mostly sunny Thursday ahead

New Jersey saw mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the 80s Wednesday.

But News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that clouds and rain are expected to come in Wednesday evening and overnight.

Thursday morning is expected to start off cloudy with some light rain, but sunshine is expected to come back by late morning. High temperatures should be in the low-80s.

Friday may see scattered rain showers with temperatures in the low- to mid-70s.

Saturday is expected to be mostly cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm. High temperatures should be around 83 degrees.

Sunday should see mostly sunny skies with temperatures warming to the mid-80s.
