Mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers are expected Friday across New Jersey.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says the wet weather is forecast to continue over the next few days, heightening the risk for some slick spots on the roads as temperatures cool. The high temperature for Friday is 43 degrees.

A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 1 p.m. for Sussex County, where freezing rain is expected.
