Forecast: Hot, humid conditions forcing schools to close early

The National Weather Service has issued heat advisories for most New Jersey counties through Monday evening due to the high temperatures and expected high humidity.

A number of schools across the state are also closing early.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says temperatures Monday will be in the mid-90s. Gregorio says conditions will be hot and humid and will feel like it is 100 degrees. There is the possibility of some isolated thunderstorms throughout the day.

Temperatures overnight will drop into the mid-70s, with mostly cloudy skies. The possibility of a thunderstorm still exists.

Tuesday is expected to see temperatures in the high-80s, with early cloudy giving way to some afternoon sun.

Wednesday should see partly sunny skies. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s.
