Forecast: Snow moves out; rainy weekend ahead

EDISON -

Parts of New Jersey saw a snowy start to Thursday, with most areas of the state seeing heavy snow flurries.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Justin Godynick says that the snow has mostly cleared out and may turn to rain overnight. Temperatures should remain in the mid-30s.

Friday should see temperatures warm to the low-50s with a mix of sun and clouds for most of the day. Rain should develop by the evening.

Saturday is expected to start off rainy, with heavy rainstorms through most of the morning hours, according to Godynick. High temperatures should be in the low-50s.

Sunday is also expected to see mostly cloudy skies with periods of rain. High temperatures should be in the mid-40s.

The weather is expected to dry up by Monday.
