Forecast: Sunshine Monday following overnight wintry mix

EDISON -

A fast-moving storm brought some slushy snow, rain and a wintry mix to the Garden State overnight and into Monday morning.

There could be slick conditions on untreated surfaces this morning. Any early snow and rain will taper off, and the rest of the day Presidents Day will see increasing sunshine. The high temperature for the day will be 46 degrees. Monday night will see partly cloudy skies with lows around 23.

For Tuesday, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs around 36 degrees.

The next chance for some snow arrives Wednesday, which is expected to see periods of snow and sleet changing to rain.
