Forecast: Frost advisory overnight; clear skies Tuesday

EDISON -

New Jersey saw cooler temperatures Monday after summerlike weekend highs.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that temperatures are expected to cool into the 30s and 40s overnight.

The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory from 2-9 a.m. Tuesday for the following counties: Hunterdon, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex and Warren.

Curren says that New Jersey residents should make sure to bring their pets inside overnight due to the drop in temperatures.

Tuesday is expected to see mostly clear skies with temperatures in the low-60s and upper-50s. Temperatures may dip into the 40s overnight.

Wednesday should see mostly sunny skies with highs in the low-70s.

New Jersey should continue to see sunny skies into next week with temperatures in the 70s.
