Major snowstorm slams New Jersey; causes havoc on the roads

EDISON -

A major snowstorm seemed to take New Jersey by surprise, as the state saw much more snow than originally anticipated.

The National Weather Service reports that parts of New Jersey saw at least 9 inches of snow.

The snow caused absolute chaos on the roadways, with many New Jerseyans reporting that it took them hours to get home for commutes that were only a few miles. The state railway system also experienced heavy delays.
