Forecast: Rain, cooler temperatures come to New Jersey

Weather conditions in New Jersey started off cool Monday with temperatures in the upper-40s.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that rain is coming in the forecast, with up to 2 inches possible by Wednesday.

Curren says that coastal flooding could be possible this evening due to the tides and a full moon.

Monday’s overnight hours should see mostly cloudy skies with rain possible after midnight. Temperatures should be in the upper-50s and low-60s.

Tuesday is expected to be cloudy with periods of rain. Temperatures should be slightly warmer with highs around 74 degrees.

Wednesday should also see cloudy skies with more rain. A thunderstorm is also possible. High temperatures could reach into the 80s.
