Forecast: Dangerously cold temperatures to end as day progresses

EDISON -

New Jersey saw dangerously cold temperatures to start off the work week, and the trend continued this morning, but should end as the day progresses.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says Tuesday will see temperatures in the 30s, with mostly sunny skies. Conditions won't be as harsh as they were Monday.

Temperatures overnight will drop into the low-20s, with partly cloudy skies. Conditions will be seasonable.

Wednesday is expected to see temperatures in the mid-40s, with mostly cloudy skies. Gregorio says there is the chance of a few rain showers throughout the day.

Thursday should see mostly cloudy skies, with the rain continuing. Temperatures will be in the mid-50s.
