New Jersey is expected to see several inches of snow Wednesday as a pair of coastal storms approach the state.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for a majority of the state from 6 p.m. Tuesday through 2 a.m. Thursday ahead of the storms.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that Tuesday afternoon and evening should mostly see a wintry mix, mostly in areas south of Interstate-195.

Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with warmer temperatures in the mid-40s. Overnight lows should cool into the upper-20s.

Friday should see a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures around 44 degrees.
