Forecast: Colder temps return after Wednesday snow

Several inches of snow blanketed the Garden State early Wednesday, with colder weather set to return overnight.

News 12 meteorologists say the bulk of the snow fell between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday, impacting the morning commute and school districts. More than 190 schools in New Jersey either canceled or delayed classes Wednesday

Sunshine is expected for the rest of the week, with high temperatures in the mid- to upper-30s.

The weekend is expected to be warmer, with high temperatures in the 50s.
