Forecast: Possible record-breaking high temperatures Wednesday

New Jersey has a chance at setting temperature records on Wednesday, with highs in the mid-70s.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologists say Wednesday will be unseasonably warm and sunny. There will be a possibility of scattered showers overnight into early Thursday.

Thursday and Friday should then cool back to the 40s before warming back up into the 50s for the weekend. Periods of rain are expected from Thursday through Sunday.
