Forecast: Bitter cold temps, snow showers Wednesday night

EDISON -

New Jersey is expected to see some more snow Wednesday night going into Thursday as a clipper system moves through the state.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that parts of New Jersey could see 1 to 3 inches of light, fluffy snow. Curren says to give yourself extra time Thursday morning to clear off vehicles and walkways.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the 20s overnight. The snow should be gone by daybreak, according to Curren.

Thursday should see mostly sunny skies after the snow clears. High temperatures should reach the mid- to upper-30s. Temperatures could drop into the teens overnight.

Friday should see sunny skies in the morning, followed by increased clouds. Highs should only reach the low-30s.
