Black Small Business Expo held in Bed-Stuy

Dozens of small business owners gathered in Bedford-Stuyvesant Saturday to display their crafts to new customers.
The Black Small Business Expo allowed business owners to show off jewelry, clothing, artwork, soaps and food. The event also held workshops that covered topics such as empowerment and finances.
The event was organized by a group called 500 Men Making A Difference. The non-profit does community service around the city.
They say Saturday's event was to try and help small businesses survive and thrive.
