Firefighters clear warehouse fire, road closes

PARSIPPANY -

Firefighters spent Saturday morning clearing a fire at an industrial building in Morris County.

News 12 was told the fire started around 11 a.m. at 222 New Road in Parsippany. The fire caused heavy smoke in the area.

New Road is now closed between Route 46 Eastbound and Edwards Road. Officials have advised drivers to take an alternate route.

Further details surrounding the cause of the fire were not immediately available.

No injuries have been reported.
