Everyday Heroes: Pads-4-Purrs
A 7-year-old Clinton girl has created something very special, using her sewing skills and tooth fairy money.
Ava Vallely said she became inspired after visiting Tabby's Place Cat Sanctuary a few months ago, and she wanted to bring comfort to the cats in need there, such as the two cats she adopted, Johnny and Jack.
The 7-year-old set out on a mission to make cat beds. She’s finished 60 so far and created a charity called Pads-4-Purrs.
Ava said she’s planning to make her next batch delivery of 30 beds to Tabby's Place and St. Hubert's in the next few months.
