Parents and schools are on alert after another child luring attempt in Morris County.
Since the start of the school year, police in Mendham, Bernardsville and Madison have been on the lookout for someone trying to lure kids into his car. Last week, Bernardsville had four incidents. On Monday, Madison had its second in a month.
Police say the latest attempt happened at the corner of Cook Avenue and Community Place. Authorities say a man in a car approached an 11-year-old girl at her bus stop.
Investigators say in each incident, a similar technique was used by the perpetrator. They say the man usually entices children to get in his car with the promise of a reward.
